Days Out: River Cottage

You have probably seen Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and the River Cottage series on Channel 4, some of you (including me!) probably also have a few of the books and DVD’s too.  Hugh established River Cottage HQ in Dorset in 2004, and the operation is now based at Park Farm near Axminster in Devon. A working organic smallholding, HQ is also the base for a broad range of courses and events, and home to the newly launched River Cottage Chefs’ School.

However, did you know you can participate in cookery courses at River Cottage or book to visit them for their special events? They are now also holding outdoor courses such as beekeeping, foraging, build and bake and more.
